DottiSign is a web-based platform that allows users to create PDF documents, add e-signature fields, and send documents for legally binding electronic signatures. The Service includes a drag-and-drop PDF editor, document templates, recipient management, and signature collection.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Maintain the security of your account credentials.
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Upload, send, or store any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.

Forge signatures or create fraudulent documents.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.

5. Plans and Payments

DottiSign offers both free and paid plans. Paid plans are processed securely through our payment provider, Polar. By purchasing a plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees.

Free plan: Includes limited document and e-signature usage as described on our pricing page.
Lifetime plans: One-time payment grants access to the specified tier for the lifetime of the Service. Usage limits apply as described at the time of purchase.
Pricing changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing for future purchases. Existing lifetime plan holders retain their purchased tier benefits.

6. Electronic Signatures

The Service facilitates the collection of electronic signatures. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

Electronic signatures collected through DottiSign are intended to be legally binding under applicable e-signature laws (e.g., ESIGN Act, eIDAS).
You are responsible for ensuring that the use of electronic signatures is appropriate and legally valid for your specific documents and jurisdiction.
We provide audit trails (timestamps, IP addresses, email verification) to support the validity of signatures.
DottiSign is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice regarding the enforceability of electronic signatures.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by DottiSign and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all documents and content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DottiSign shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DottiSign operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
